Le 30 juin et le 16 juillet, nous avons accueilli 12 personnes
(4 étudiants étrangers du MBA marketing, 2 internes étrangers, une professeur d’anglais, 2 touristes et 3 japonais !!
Ce jour-là, c’était la première semaine après la saison des pluies. Il faisait très chaud mais nous avons profité ce temps sous un toit de glycines avec un vent agréable.
L’été était déjà bien là. Dans la nature du parc d’Ueno, nous avons trouvé de la verdure saisonnière : des lotus (il y a un grand étang de lotus), des hortensias de couleurs variées, de nouvelles verdures, des glycines, etc…
Chacun a attelé à créer un Haïku en additionnant un mot saisonnier que l’on pouvait trouver en composant 5, 7 et 5 syllabes (C’est le style de l’Haïku).
C’est un travail toujours intéressant car comme le haïku est très court, on réfléchit bien et on choisi les mots qu’on doit utiliser. C’est donc le haïku est une création sophistiquée ultime, chacun peut vivre une expérience originale à travers le processus de cette dernière.

Le premier………À la sortie Est de Shinjuku, Je serais rouge si j’étais un hortensia.
Le deuxième……Je serais un hortensia rouge dans la foule.

Qu’est-ce qu’on peut faire dans cette Expérience de Haïku?
– Qu’est-ce que le haïku (俳句) ?
Haïku est un court poème japonais qui a un rythme, aimé dans le monde entier.
Ce rythme est 5, 7, et 5 syllabes qui compose une phrase.
En général on le crée avec un mot saisonnier appelé Kigo (季語).
-Qu’est-ce qu’on peut faire avec un Haïku ?
Comme c’est un poème très court, on ne peut pas dire beaucoup de choses.
Par contre, vous pouvez emporter un Haïku avec vos décourvertes et impressions originales.

Absolutely lovely! Writing poetry in Ueno Park with the Sakura trees in bloom felt like a trip back in time. A great experience in Tokyo. Highly recommend!

This experience was held in a park near a shrine. We had our own picnic table and were given a tutorial with a Japanese/English sheet of paper presented by a translator as well as a well-regarded haiku poet. After explaining the basics of Japanese haiku, which is definitely more than just the 5-7-5 syllable breakdown I learned about in school, they walked us around the park and explained different natural elements that might inspire our poem. After we composed our poems in English, the haiku artist translated the essence of them into Japanese onto a really nice sheet/board of paper in calligraphy. He then read the result and translated the way he interpreted your words. It was really interesting to see how he captured the heart of the English words, but structured it in keeping with the Japanese haiku tradition and language. Not an easy feat! As a writer, I really enjoyed this experience and would recommend it to others. The result makes for a unique keepsake.

Ayaka-san is a wonderful lady. I had the most fun with her and her team of Haiku experts. Literature and samples to understand these beautiful, deep and challenging poems were made so easy and an enjoyable experience. She was patient to answer any questions and took time to explain the characters and it’s intrinsic meaning. She even went out of her to make me feel comfortable. Very patient lady. I will encourage anyone to take her workshop as a cultural experience.

This was an incredible experience from the moment I considered booking it. Ayaka was super flexible in making arrangements for me! She and the other members in her team took me and the other guest to a beautiful sakura-filled place in Ueno Park. We got to walk around while learning about haiku and engaging all our senses. Then, we wrote our haiku and a well-known Japanese haiku writer (who has won competitions) translated our haiku for us! Moreover, everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. I’ve had many good Experiences, but this is by far the best. Ayaka, Yumi, & Gai: Hontoni arigato gozaimashita!

On June 30th ＆ July 16th, we welcomed 12 people,
(4 foreign MBA marketing students, 2 foreign interns, an English teacher, 2 german tourists and 3 Japanese !!
That day was the first week after the rainy season. It was very hot but we enjoyed this time under the wisteria roof with a nice wind.
Summer has already came. In the nature of the Ueno park, we found the seasonal greenery : lotus (there is a large lotus pond), hydrangeas of various colors, new greeneries, wisterias, etc. .
Each of us focused on creating a Haiku adding a seasonal word that could be found and composing 5, 7 and 5 syllables (This is the Haiku style).
This is an interesting work because the haiku is very short, we think carefully and choose the words we should use. That is why the haiku is an ultimate sophisticated creation, everyone can live an original experience through the process of the latter.

What can we do in this Haiku Experience?
– What is haiku (俳 句)?
Haiku is a short Japanese poem that has a rhythm, loved all over the world. This rhythm is 5, 7, and 5 syllables that makes up a sentence. In general we create it with a seasonal word called Kigo (季 語).
-What can we do with a Haiku?
Since it’s a very short poem, you can not say a lot. On the other hand, you can take a Haiku with your uncurlings and original impressions.
